Investment Process

The investment process at Rockingstone Advisors begins with the development of a strategic asset plan. It is then refined by leveraging insight gained from our research-driven focus.

Legacy Asset Allocation

The Legacy Portfolio represents a family’s asset allocation decisions-- either independently or with another advisor-- before Rockingstone’s analysis.

Typically, a legacy portfolio is overweight equity and cash, as investors have been too terrified to deploy capital.  It is usually underweight alternative investments and fixed income.

Strategic Asset Allocation

The Strategic Portfolio represents the family’s benchmark asset allocation strategy without adjusting for pricing inefficiencies between asset classes or relative to cash.
